Business Partner – Payroll & Budgeting

    The role will drive critical change in the way P&C provides services to our colleagues and our leaders – the role will enable transition to a new one stop shop for all employee related services across AGI verticals and business units. Empowering, enhancing life for AGI workforce.

    The purpose of the role is to proactively act as needed to make Al-Ghurair Investment (AGI) employees successful at work managing overall operational control of payroll, benefits enrollments and renewals, help desk management, data management etc. Treating employees as customers, supporting employees daily, analyzing HR metrics, and making sure everyone has the tools they need to be successful.


    • Support modernization and implementation of new group wide HR systems working closely with all P&C Heads, IT and Finance.
    • Ensure consistency, standardization & compliance while transitioning to ‘Group’ payroll management.
    • Provide visibility and analytics HR metrics, variances from budget and forecasts in terms of costs and headcount.
    • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for Group staff costs.
    • The role will be responsible for setting and supporting the shared services strategy for all people processes especially payroll and systems that impact our colleagues on a day to day basis. The incumbent will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing existing processes to ensure they are in line with our colleague experience aspirations, as well as leading a team to seamlessly manage our existing people operations and carry any ongoing iterations and improvements.
    • Participate in a new HRIS selection, assessment, and migration while collaborating with IT,Audit and Compliance, Finance, and Legal, teams to ensure all critical processes are captured and migrated.
    • Take ownership with clear areas of roles and responsibilities on major areas like benefits, third-party / contractors, payroll, compliance, budgeting and more


    • Master’s degree in either Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; Project Management, CIPD
    • At least 12-15 years if experience in managing various aspects of Human Resources in a large conglomerate. Excellent knowledge of HR procedures, policies and Labor Laws of GCC and MENA region.
    • Experience of aligning Compensation & Benefits, Human Resources processes, and implementation of HR / ERP systems. Strategic change management experience
