About UsA little curiosity can take you anywhere So at Hotel Indigo we do more than satisfy our guests curiosity we inspire them Our passionate colleagues help create memorable and unique experiences for our guests in a place truly connected to the local neighbourhood infused with intriguing design and local flavours Where every day brings new discoveries fresh experiences and unexpected ideas And just like our hotels no two colleagues are the same So we re curious about YOU How will you inspire the eclectic rhythm in our hotels How will you bring the local neighbourhood story to life At Hotel Indigo hotels we re excited to meet spirited characters who can delight the most curious guests The hotel boasts 269 tastefully decorated rooms each thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotels neighbourhood story the story of Dubai creek Your Day to DayEvery day is different but as Director of Sales and Marketing you ll mostly develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved You will lead and manage the sales and marketing team On the daily you ll be overseeing their sales efforts and giving them the lowdown on how to be their best selves You will monitor sales activities performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan You ll produce monthly reports and sales forecasts You will also analyze current potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy increase average rates increase business volume food and beverage and banquet sales You ll participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget the hotel marketing plan and business plan and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the hotel Your responsibilities will require direct and routine interaction with IHG s Regional Commercial Team What we need from youThis is a great opportunity for talented sales professionals to step up in their career and experience a new challenge in a trendy lifestyle brand The ideal candidate would come with extensive UAE experience in different sales segments with the ability to develop and execute winning commercial strategies Ideally you ll have a bachelor s degree in a sales and marketing or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience within the sales field We are in search of an individual who is not afraid to challenge the norm tackle challenges head-on from different angles and aspire to be part of a dynamic and eclectic team If that s you we would love to meet you
