    SUMMARY

    Responsible for being the liaison/SPOC between the Business functions and Technology teams in the Restaurants Division regarding the master data, from the processes and governance perspective. Driving master data quality and integrity initiatives, ensuring data consistency and accuracy throughout the organization, and to make effective use of processes and technologies

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of data across all Restaurants Technologies and ERP applications
    • Facilitate the design of processes for input, review and maintenance of master data ensuring standardization across business functions and IT teams (POS, Digital, BOH and ERP)
    • Ensure understanding of Data inputs processes across the organization and alignment of end-to-end data governance processes
    • Participate in the development, implementation and compliance of Master Data / Data Governance policies and procedures across Business Functions and IT applications
    • Facilitate the execution of project activities for master data.
    • Provide monthly analysis and customized reporting to business partners that highlight potential issues, identify root causes, and improve data integrity and decision making
    • Monitor/measure key performance indicators to ensure data quality and accuracy between business and IT applications
    • Coordinates & analyzes data gaps by collaborating with appropriate data owners and business partners and IT Partners
    • Actively work with internal customers to reduce master data defects and develop processes that reduce non-value-added work
    • Lead the technical solution design and the development to create a single source of truth via the MDM solution.
    • Evaluate and drive data management processes (i.e., define best practices and processes to support efficiencies within customer, products, and vendor data management) and Implementing process improvements through the introduction of appropriate workflows, data upload tools and approval processes
    • Identify and define the right strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectively
    • Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for development, QA, and production support for the MDM platforms.
    • Implement master data management standards, enforce data governance procedures, and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms.
    • Assist in establishing best practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures for master data maintenance and monitoring.
    • Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements into feasible and acceptable data designs to ensure that business needs are met while adhering to corporate terms and conditions as well as published data governance standards.
    • Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to improve database systems.
    • Lead data cleansing and validation efforts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Process Owners (BPOs), Consultants.
    • Works directly with SMEs to guide them on the use of validation tools. Hold the data SMEs accountable for deadlines and milestones and Work with Local Project Managers on project deliverables and milestones.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information management, Data management, Computer science, Business, Finance, or related field required

    Experience:

    • 10+ years of working on master data analysis, setup, control and governance
    • Experience with using an MDM/ERP system (Oracle)
    • Experience working with Restaurant Technologies like CrunchTime, Digital and NCR Aloha
    • Configuration of an industry standard MDM tool in conjunction with an ERP
    • Demonstrated business process improvement experience pertaining to Finance, HCM, SCM and Procurement process areas

    Knowledge

    • Demonstrated knowledge of master data processes, data modeling, data standards, data lakes setup and how they relate to the business processes and the ERP
    • Knowledge of Key master data management
    • Knowledge of data pertaining to Finance, HCM, SCM and Procurement process areas
    • Knowledge of data in relation to Restaurant Technologies – Aloha, Crunch Time, Digital and Sales Hub etc.
