Sales Engineer – Lighting

    Job Description

    1. Creating customer awareness of Sharaf DG group lighting vertical in Abu Dhabi market
    2. Create a business development plan for financial year and clear alignment on sales targets, segment, timelines and to an extend projects
    3. Ensure healthy client base & sales pipeline in assigned lighting segment in Abu Dhabi
    4. Utility Market
    5. O&G
    6. Commercial new construction projects
    7. ESCO & Retrofit market
    8. Capable to work individually for the entire stages of Lighting project sales – lead Generation, BOQ Understanding, Manufacturer /product selection, Commercial proposal, Negotiation, Submittals and closure
    9. Map the weekly, monthly & quarterly sales plan and report to the line manage on regular basis
    10. Perform the market and competition analysis.
    11. Maintain a good relation with the potential client and partner brands
    12. Capable to perform Energy Audit for Lighting retrofit project
    13. Bid submission and timely response to the RFP, enquiries
    14. Attend marketing events related to line of business


    1. Experience 3-5 Years in Lighting segment – specialized in utility segment
    2. Software Knowledge – Lighting Design, MS Office, AutoCAD
    3. Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree
    4. Valid UAE driving License with own vehicle
    5. Available to join immediately or max after 30 days’ notice period
    6. Should be based in UAE
