Accountant

A specialty coffee company in Dubai is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a good opportunity for an accounting professional with strong financial reporting skills and UAE accounting experience who wants to build a career with a leading specialty coffee business. You’ll manage day-to-day accounting, support audits and budgeting, and keep VAT compliance on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and month-end closing
• Prepare journal entries and financial reports
• Keep the company compliant with UAE VAT regulations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Support budgeting and financial planning
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Carry out financial analysis to support decisions
• Use ERP systems to manage accounting transactions
• Work with internal teams to keep finance operations running smoothly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• UAE accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems (ERPNext is a plus)
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
