Accountant

ORKI Caf, part of the Rashid Al Jabri Group of Companies, is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its Dubai team. This role is a good fit for someone with hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and VAT compliance, ideally within a fast-moving F&B, hospitality, or retail environment. You’ll help keep the café’s finances accurate and support the wider group’s finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily bank transactions
• Reconcile daily sales from POS systems and delivery platforms such as Talabat, Keeta, and Noon
• Review and verify sales reports and supporting documents
• Process vendor invoices and supplier payments via online banking
• Track and report on outstanding vendor payments
• Coordinate monthly DEWA bill processing and payment
• Manage salary payments through cash, Kamel Pay, and WPS
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns
• Reconcile petty cash and maintain accurate records
• Keep financial documentation organized and support other accounting/admin tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of UAE accounting experience
• F&B, hospitality, or retail industry experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
