Job Overview
A UAE-based employer is looking for a motivated Accountant to support its finance team. This position is suited to someone who has already worked in the UAE and has practical experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, customer accounts, and routine accounting activities. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and keep financial records complete, current, and properly organized.
- Prepare invoices and maintain supporting documentation for accounts receivable transactions.
- Contact clients professionally to follow up on payment status and outstanding invoices.
- Assist with account reconciliations and investigate differences in customer account balances.
- Support routine accounting activities and help the finance team maintain an orderly workflow.
- Use spreadsheets and accounting records to track invoices, receipts, and account information.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least one year of accounting experience in the UAE is required.
- Previous experience with accounting, invoicing, and accounts receivable is expected.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
