Accountant

Sedar Global is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its finance team, supporting daily financial operations across its Middle East branches. This role suits candidates already based in the UAE who bring solid accounting knowledge and are ready for immediate joining. Interviews take place in Sharjah, with the role open to any Sedar Global branch across the region; home-country accounting experience is also considered for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain VAT documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Prepare financial reports and assist with reporting requirements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Use accounting software and ERP systems to process financial transactions efficiently

Requirements

• Male candidates only
• Must be currently residing in the UAE
• Available to join immediately
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (home country experience is acceptable)
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and accounting software/ERP systems
