Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

A Dubai-based organisation is seeking an experienced, Arabic-speaking Accountant to join its finance team immediately. This role is specifically open to female candidates with solid UAE accounting experience who can bring both strong technical finance skills and fluent Arabic language ability to a busy and diverse finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and accounting summaries that accurately reflect the company’s financial position and performance.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes end-to-end, including invoice verification, payment runs, customer billing, and collections follow-up.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date general ledger entries across all company accounts.
• Maintain thorough financial records and supporting documentation for all transactions to ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Assist with UAE VAT filing activities and ensure ongoing compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and UAE financial accounting standards.
• Support the finance team with day-to-day operations, financial reporting tasks, and ad hoc accounting projects as required.

Requirements & Skills:

• Female candidates with 2–8 years of UAE accounting experience — this is a specific requirement for the role.
• Arabic language fluency is mandatory; bilingual Arabic and English communication skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, or other recognised accounting software platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial data management and reporting.
• Good practical knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT compliance, and audit support procedures.
