Job Overview
GAO GU CONTRACTING is looking for an Accountant / Finance Officer to support the company’s financial operations in Dubai. The role is suitable for a finance professional who can maintain accurate records, review transactions, and support routine accounting and reporting activities.
Applicants with UAE construction-sector experience have an advantage. The employer is seeking someone currently based in the UAE who can join immediately; Chinese and English communication skills are particularly useful for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records, ledgers, and financial documents in an accurate and organized manner.
- Record daily transactions and assist with routine accounting operations and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports to support management review.
- Check invoices, payment documents, and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
- Help maintain filing systems and respond to requests for finance-related information.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues to resolve discrepancies and support timely reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject.
- Have relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Be currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
- Understand basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and record retention.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- UAE construction experience and Chinese-English communication are advantages.
