Anesthesia Specialist

Anesthesia Specialist is a full-time opportunity with Saudi German Hospital – Ajman in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Saudi German Hospital – Ajman is inviting applications from qualified Anesthesia Specialists to provide safe and effective anesthetic care across surgical and medical procedures. The physician will work with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting perioperative care, patient safety, and pain management. The successful candidate will be expected to work professionally, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth delivery of the responsibilities assigned to the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients before procedures and determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer anesthesia safely and continuously monitor patients during procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative anesthetic care and pain-management support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals.
• Maintain complete medical records and comply with hospital policies and clinical standards.
• Follow established patient-safety protocols, emergency procedures, and evidence-based practices.
• Support high-quality perioperative services and communicate clinical information clearly to the care team.

Requirements

• Specialist qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Active MOH license or MOH evaluation as specified by the source posting.
• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• UAE hospital experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient-monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of general and regional anesthesia techniques.
• Understanding of perioperative care, emergency response, and pain-management protocols.
• Physicians currently based in the UAE may receive preference.
