Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general, cost, and inventory accounting activities and maintain accurate supporting records.
• Support month-end closing, account reconciliations, and preparation of reliable financial information.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial information and documentation for internal and external audit requirements.
• Work with ERP and accounting systems and support ERP implementation activities where required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred; minimum five years of relevant experience; manufacturing, food manufacturing, FMCG, or production experience advantageous; strong general, cost, and inventory accounting knowledge; knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax; ERP experience; advanced Excel and financial-reporting skills.
