Job Description

Fidelity Building Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its growing construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered according to approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical knowledge of UAE construction practices and a commitment to delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and retail projects.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Project Execution

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities at project sites
• Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor project progress and maintain adherence to project schedules
• Support project planning, inspections, and final handover activities

Technical Coordination

• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Resolve technical issues and site-related challenges promptly
• Provide technical guidance to site teams when required

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations and safety standards
• Monitor construction quality and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and material quality
• Maintain safe working practices across all project activities

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation
• Generate material requests and coordinate procurement requirements
• Maintain project records and construction documentation
• Support reporting requirements for project management and stakeholders

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of UAE construction experience preferred
• Experience in building construction and infrastructure projects is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with project management and reporting tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications

Additional Requirements

• UAE Driving License is preferred
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
