Akshaya IT Solutions is hiring an experienced Data Engineer for a full-time onsite role in Dubai. The position focuses on scalable data pipelines, data platforms, warehousing, cloud technologies, data quality, and reliable production operations.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Build scalable data-storage solutions and monitor data infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot production issues affecting pipelines and data platforms.
- Apply data-governance practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
- Document technical processes, pipelines, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with data-engineering teams to deliver business solutions.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; 6+ years as a Data Engineer; experience with structured/semi-structured ingestion and streaming; strong dimensional modelling knowledge; hands-on experience with Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, AWS EMR/Lambda/Glue/Step Functions, Kafka/Flume, Redshift, Oracle, and SQL Server. Valid passport and willingness to work onsite five days a week required.
