Ducont is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join its Dubai team on-site. This role is a strong fit for professionals skilled in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL solutions in enterprise environments, with hands-on experience in workflow orchestration, database technologies, and Python-based data engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data pipeline solutions
- Build and manage workflow orchestration processes using Apache Airflow
- Develop Python-based data engineering and automation solutions
- Work with MemSQL/SingleStore databases to support data processing needs
- Implement and manage data replication using Oracle GoldenGate
- Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions
Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow (workflow orchestration)
- Experience working with MemSQL / SingleStore
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate
- Expertise in ETL and data pipeline development
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning
