Nexmarin is seeking a capable and motivated Draftsman | Ship Design & Engineering to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time opportunity is suited to professionals who can bring practical expertise, dependable execution, and a strong commitment to quality. The role offers the chance to contribute directly to day-to-day operations while working in a professional environment where accuracy, communication, and timely delivery are important.
The position sits within the Marine Engineering / Ship Design function and requires 2–3 years. Candidates should hold diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, naval architecture, drafting, or a related field. The indicated compensation is AED 5,500–8,500 per month (Estimated). The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively, manage assigned responsibilities efficiently, maintain professional standards, and respond positively to changing business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise technical drawings for vessel design, modification and marine engineering projects.
- Develop ship structural and statutory drawings to project specifications.
- Coordinate with naval architects and engineers to maintain technical accuracy.
- Revise drawings in response to engineering feedback and project changes.
- Maintain organized drawing files and support project deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience preparing ship structural and statutory drawings.
- Strong understanding of marine engineering or naval architecture drafting.
- Rhino knowledge is an advantage, along with strong attention to detail.
