Grammar School Dubai is hiring for the position of French Teacher & Art Teacher (Secondary) 2x in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging French or Art lessons appropriate for secondary students and aligned with the British Curriculum.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson resources, assessments, and differentiated learning activities.
- Create a positive, safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student work, monitor progress, maintain appropriate records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional-development activities, and wider educational programs.
- Follow school policies, curriculum requirements, safeguarding expectations, and relevant UAE education standards.
- Complete required documentation and approvals associated with appointment and school compliance.
In addition to the core duties listed above, the selected candidate will be expected to maintain professional standards, communicate clearly, follow company procedures, and cooperate with internal teams and external stakeholders where applicable. The role requires reliability and consistent follow-through. Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in the relevant teaching subject.
- Minimum two years of British Curriculum teaching experience.
- UAE school experience is preferred.
- Strong classroom-management, communication, planning, and assessment skills.
- MOFA-attested certificates and equivalency are required.
- Successful applicants must meet applicable KHDA, Ministry of Labor, police-clearance, and reference-check requirements.
