General Accountant

Paramount Zone is looking for a qualified, detail-oriented General Accountant to join its Dubai team. This role suits professionals with solid UAE accounting experience who can manage day-to-day accounting operations while keeping the company compliant with local regulations. Experience in consultancy or service-based industries, and multi-company accounting, is a plus, and candidates who can join within 15 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
• Prepare and process invoices, monitor collections, and manage payments
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Support VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Prepare basic financial reports and support routine financial analysis
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and data accuracy
• Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth financial operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 2-5 years of UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
• Strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities
• Available immediately or within a 15-day notice period
• Consultancy or service-industry experience is a plus, as is exposure to multi-company accounting
