Dicetek UAE is hiring an experienced Helpdesk & IT Support Specialist for a government project in Dubai, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a highly regulated, dynamic IT environment.
You’ll provide first and second-level technical support, assist with application and infrastructure coordination, and support IT compliance activities. Candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do:
- Provide L1/L2 helpdesk and desktop support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and access-related issues
- Support business applications and coordinate with external vendors as needed
- Assist with infrastructure operations including servers, networks, and system monitoring
- Participate in IT deployments, upgrades, system testing, and operational improvements
- Maintain IT documentation and support audit and compliance processes
What you’ll bring:
- Strong L1/L2 helpdesk and desktop support experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, networking, and user access issues
- Exposure to application support and vendor coordination
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure: servers, networks, and monitoring tools
- Experience in government or regulated environments is preferred
- A valid UAE driving licence (mandatory)
- Notice period of 30 days or less
