Dukes The Palm and NH Collection Dubai The Palm are recruiting for nine hospitality positions across their culinary, pastry, bakery and stewarding teams in Palm Jumeirah. The vacancies include Indian Head Chef for a signature Indian restaurant, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, Commis I, Commis II, Assistant Pastry Chef, Baker and Steward. The hotels are seeking candidates with experience in four- or five-star hotels or other reputable hospitality establishments. Successful applicants should care about food quality, presentation, hygiene and teamwork, and be comfortable working in a busy hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes and food items in line with the relevant recipes, quality expectations and hotel standards.
- Support the daily running of kitchen sections and coordinate tasks with other culinary team members.
- Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation and portion standards.
- Assist with pastry, bakery or specialist cuisine work according to the position being filled.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, cleaning and equipment-care procedures.
- Support stewarding duties and help keep kitchen work areas, utensils and equipment clean and organised.
- Work with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow during service and other operational periods.
Requirements and Skills
- Have previous experience in a four- or five-star hotel or a reputable hospitality business.
- Bring a positive attitude, professionalism and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Understand food hygiene and safe kitchen practices.
- Have relevant experience in culinary, pastry, bakery or stewarding operations.
- Be able to maintain quality and organisation in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
A diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food Production or a related area is relevant for culinary and pastry positions. Candidates should match their experience to the specific vacancy, particularly for chef and specialist kitchen roles.
Employment Details
Nine full-time vacancies are available at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The estimated monthly salary range is AED 2,500–12,000 and may vary according to the role and experience.
