HSE Manager

A confidential employer in Dubai is seeking a senior HSE Manager to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental compliance across airport operations. This is a leadership role that requires broad UAE HSE experience combined with a deep understanding of aviation safety standards and the ability to drive a strong safety culture in a high-tempo environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage HSE programmes across all airport operational areas.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE legislation, GCAA regulations, and IATA AHM/ISAGO standards.
• Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and thorough incident investigations.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and continuous improvement plans.
• Deliver safety training, guidance, and support to operational teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare HSE compliance reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal departments to uphold operational safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
• 7–10 years of UAE HSE experience.
• Prior experience in airport, airline, or ground handling operations is highly preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence; willing to work shifts and meet airside access requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
