Pera Palace Dubai is looking for a detail-focused Hygiene Officer to help maintain food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards across hotel and restaurant operations. The role involves routine inspections, checks on food handling and storage, documentation and support for audits. Candidates should have three to five years of relevant hotel or restaurant experience and a solid understanding of HACCP principles and UAE food hygiene requirements.

- Salary: AED 4,500–7,000 per month (estimated).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP practices across operating areas.
- Inspect kitchens, restaurants, food storage spaces and related work areas regularly.
- Check food temperatures, handling practices, product labels and first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation.
- Follow up on cleaning schedules, pest-control measures and waste-management practices.
- Maintain hygiene records and support internal, external and regulatory inspections or audits.
- Help train team members and reinforce compliance with UAE food-safety requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Three to five years of relevant experience in hotels or restaurants is required.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety practices and UAE food hygiene regulations.
- Food Safety or HACCP certification is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Ability to maintain records, report issues and follow up on corrective actions.
