A well-established school in Sharjah is expanding its faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year and is on the lookout for an ICT Teacher who genuinely enjoys bringing technology to life in the classroom. If you like turning coding concepts, digital tools and computing theory into lessons students actually look forward to, this role was built with you in mind.
You’ll take ownership of the ICT curriculum, from lesson planning through to tracking how each student is progressing, and you’ll work alongside a supportive academic team that values fresh ideas as much as consistency. Beyond the classroom, you’ll have a hand in wider school initiatives that promote digital literacy across year groups.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering ICT lessons that are aligned with curriculum standards and genuinely engaging
- Reviewing assessment data to spot where students need extra support and adjusting your approach accordingly
- Tracking academic progress and applying evidence-based teaching strategies
- Working closely with senior teachers and academic leaders to raise learning outcomes school-wide
- Getting involved in enrichment programs and continuous improvement projects
What you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent) is preferred
- At least 3 years of classroom experience within a UAE curriculum setting
- Confident classroom management paired with strong communication skills
- A real enthusiasm for digital literacy, innovation, and helping students succeed
- Solid grounding in ICT/Computer Science instruction, assessment analysis, and curriculum planning
