Junior Accountant

FAM Advisory is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This full-time, onsite opportunity involves supporting a key client operating within the manufacturing, contracting, and elevator industry.

This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience across various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and VAT compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries accurately.
• Maintain organized financial records using Odoo ERP.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliation activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT documentation.
