Job Overview
Golden Jamix Readymix Concrete L.L.C. is looking for a Junior Accountant to support its finance activities in Sharjah. The role is suitable for an accounting professional with at least two years of experience who can assist with invoices, payments, receipts, petty cash, reconciliations, and daily record keeping. The successful candidate will help the finance team maintain accurate transaction records and ensure that routine accounting work is completed in a timely and organised manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting activities, including the recording of invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and maintain supporting documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and help keep financial records accurate and up to date.
- Organise accounting documents and ensure that transaction details are recorded clearly and consistently.
- Support the finance team with routine accounting tasks, reporting, and follow-up on financial information.
- Help ensure financial data and documents are processed within the required timelines and company procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of accounting experience is required; UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is indicated.
- Candidates should understand basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is expected.
- Good numerical ability, organisation, communication, and immediate availability are preferred.
Skills
The role calls for accuracy, time management, record keeping, Excel skills, and the ability to handle routine financial transactions. Careful attention to detail and clear communication will help the Junior Accountant work effectively with the finance team.
Employment Details
This is a full-time accounting position based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in the construction and ready-mix concrete sector. The estimated salary is AED 3,500–5,500 per month. A relevant accounting qualification and two years of experience are indicated.
