Junior Accountant

Convrgnt Value Engineering LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join its Dubai team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a genuinely good starting point for someone with a year or two of UAE accounting experience who wants to build a career in a professional, growth-focused environment, especially if they’ve had exposure to the construction industry.

You’ll get involved in daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and budgeting, working closely with other departments along the way.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Keeping financial records and supporting documentation accurate and organised
• Supporting inventory accounting and cost-control activities
• Helping with VAT preparation and compliance
• Coordinating with internal departments on financial matters
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

What you’ll bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Construction industry exposure is an advantage
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines independently
