Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and collections activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage accounting records, financial transactions, and receivables processes.
- Supervise and support team members involved in accounting and collections functions.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger while ensuring transaction accuracy.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve cash recovery performance.
- Monitor collection targets and support healthy organizational cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, UAE VAT regulations, and company policies.
- Support financial control procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments and clients regarding outstanding payments and account reconciliation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in accounting and collections management.
- Previous experience within the Medical Supplies, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage financial records, receivables, and collection activities effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a full-time, on-site environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
