Position: Payroll Specialist

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi
⏳ Duration: 1 year (extendable)

Mindpool Technologies is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll and HR operations for a client engagement in Abu Dhabi. This role requires strong hands-on payroll expertise, system knowledge, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBA or Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or an equivalent postgraduate qualification
• 4–7 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a similar HR / Payroll role
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and policies
• Hands-on experience with HR systems and HR technology platforms
• Working knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of HR & Payroll Systems (Oracle HR Modules)
• Experience using Oracle HR modules for front-desk and payroll operations
• Ability to guide, coach, and train users on payroll and HR systems
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review end-to-end payroll activities with a zero-error focus
• Ensure timely payroll runs in line with agreed schedules and SLAs
• Deliver payroll services in compliance with HR policies, payroll matrices, and client requirements
• Provide professional customer service through clear and timely communication with stakeholders
• Coordinate with Account Managers and Team Leads to resolve payroll issues and escalations
• Support onboarding of new assets by documenting payroll processes and workflows
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and service enhancement
• Plan payroll activities in advance and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders
• Handle payroll-related queries across multiple communication channels
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for payroll issues
• Follow best practices in payroll operations and HRIS systems
• Operate Oracle HR Payroll modules effectively
