Job Overview
Teryx Tech is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer for a full-time remote role supporting projects connected to the UAE. The developer will customize Odoo applications, shape business workflows, deploy systems, and support live environments. The position suits someone comfortable working independently, understanding client requirements, and turning operational needs into reliable ERP functionality.
Work covers Odoo Construction/Project, HR, and Accounting modules, as well as server management on Ubuntu. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the implementation lifecycle, from configuring modules and adapting workflows to handling updates, backups, and troubleshooting after deployment. Clear communication and dependable delivery against deadlines are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules to match project and client requirements.
- Create and adjust workflows for Construction/Project, HR, and Accounting operations.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Odoo environments on Ubuntu servers.
- Troubleshoot application and server issues and improve system performance.
- Manage system backups, updates, deployment tasks, and routine maintenance.
- Support users and resolve technical issues in live environments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least three years of hands-on Odoo development experience.
- Practical experience with Odoo Construction/Project, HR, and Accounting modules.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and XML.
- Experience deploying and maintaining Odoo on Ubuntu servers.
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Good English communication skills.
Skills and Competencies
A strong candidate will have a sound understanding of ERP processes and the technical skills to implement maintainable customizations. They should be methodical when troubleshooting, careful with data and backups, and comfortable documenting configuration changes. Good time management is important in a remote environment where development, deployment, support, and communication all need to stay coordinated.
