Job Overview
Novomed is seeking a skilled, experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join its team at a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role is designed for nurses with hands-on theatre experience in Dubai who are dedicated to high standards of patient care.
You will support surgical teams across a variety of procedures while upholding strict sterile technique, infection prevention and patient safety. Experience in plastic, orthopaedic and general surgery is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team before, during and after procedures
- Prepare operating theatres, instruments and equipment for scheduled surgeries
- Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection control and safety protocols
- Monitor patients during surgery and support efficient theatre workflow
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid DHA licence
- Previous operating theatre nursing experience in Dubai is mandatory
- Ability to work effectively with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of plastic, orthopaedic and general surgery procedures
- Command of surgical instruments, sterile technique and infection control
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
