Payroll Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established payroll schedules.
• Handle UAE WPS payroll processing and maintain compliance with applicable payroll procedures.
• Verify salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave adjustments, and other payroll inputs.
• Prepare final settlements and end-of-service benefit calculations.
• Reconcile payroll figures with accounting records and bank statements.
• Maintain confidential payroll files and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with HR on employee additions, resignations, salary changes, and attendance information.
• Prepare payroll reports and provide documentation for internal or external audits.
• Respond to employee questions relating to salary and payroll discrepancies.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant payroll experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of UAE WPS and payroll procedures.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
