An automotive company in Dubai is looking for a commercially sharp Procurement Manager to strengthen its supplier relationships and tighten up purchasing processes. You’ll be the primary point of contact for suppliers supporting the Dubai business unit, negotiating better pricing, lead times and credit terms while keeping everything organized and on track.
Beyond day-to-day supplier management, you’ll also help represent the company at major industry events like Automechanika Dubai, making this a role with real visibility and room to make an impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting supplier meetings and negotiating commercial terms
- Representing the company on pricing, lead times and delivery conditions
- Negotiating measurable improvements in pricing, Incoterms, MOQ and credit terms
- Acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers supporting the Dubai unit
- Maintaining organized supplier records and procurement reports
- Monitoring supplier follow-ups to ensure purchasing needs are met on time
- Supporting participation in industry exhibitions such as Automechanika Dubai
- Helping improve purchasing procedures and supplier management processes
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, foreign trade, distribution or a related field
- Strong supplier negotiation and follow-up skills
- Good understanding of commercial purchasing terms and processes
- Confident business communication in both English and Arabic
- Strong organizational skills for managing structured supplier data and reporting
- Results-oriented, with a focus on commercial outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
