Job Overview

A well-established organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with expertise in construction procurement, particularly in MEP, fire fighting, and civil projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong UAE market knowledge and the ability to manage procurement operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction materials and services
• Source and evaluate suppliers within the UAE construction market
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with vendors
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and site staff regarding material requirements
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment of materials
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations
• Use ERP systems and MS Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years UAE procurement experience in construction industry
• Mandatory experience in MEP, fire fighting, or civil projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and construction materials market
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• ERP or procurement system experience preferred
• UAE driving license is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
