Purchase Engineer

GORICA Group is expanding its procurement team in Jebel Ali and is looking for a motivated Purchase Engineer with solid UAE purchasing experience. This is a great opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys the pace and complexity of sourcing for heavy metal fabrication or oil & gas projects.

You’ll take ownership of purchasing activities from sourcing through to delivery, building strong vendor relationships along the way and helping the business stay competitive on cost and timelines.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing purchasing and procurement activities in line with company needs
• Sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and building strong vendor relationships
• Processing purchase orders and ensuring materials arrive on time
• Coordinating with internal departments to meet procurement requirements efficiently
• Maintaining accurate procurement records in line with company procedures

What you’ll bring:

• A Diploma or Engineering Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of UAE purchasing/procurement experience (mandatory)
• Experience in Heavy Metal Fabrication or Oil & Gas is preferred
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of SAP
