Job Description

Sama International School is expanding its academic team and is seeking qualified, experienced, and passionate educators to join its campus in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Apply subject-specific teaching methodologies to enhance student learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Promote active participation and student engagement in the classroom

Classroom Management

• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
• Maintain effective classroom management practices
• Foster respectful relationships with students and encourage positive behavior
• Ensure a safe and supportive educational atmosphere

Assessment & Student Progress

• Assess student performance through a variety of assessment methods
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Analyze assessment results to support continuous academic improvement
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance

Curriculum Planning & Development

• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and classroom activities
• Contribute to curriculum planning and implementation initiatives
• Integrate educational technology and modern teaching strategies into lessons
• Support school-wide academic improvement programs

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and support staff
• Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians

Professional Development

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• PGCE, PGDE, or another recognized teaching qualification

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the same subject area within the UAE
• Proven classroom teaching experience and curriculum delivery expertise

Language Requirements

Subject Teachers

• Non-native English speakers must possess a minimum IELTS overall band score of 7.5

Primary Teachers

• Non-native English-speaking Primary Teachers must possess a minimum IELTS Speaking/Oral band score of 8.0
