Senior Accountant

Shriji Trading is looking for a highly competent Senior Accountant to join its growing Dubai finance team. The ideal candidate brings strong UAE accounting experience and the ability to independently manage complete finance operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

You’ll handle end-to-end accounting functions, lead accounting team activities, manage financial closing processes, and support reporting requirements, reporting directly to the Finance Controller and playing a key role in maintaining financial control across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations and daily finance activities
• Lead and mentor accounting team members for smooth workflow
• Independently handle month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Manage VAT calculations, filings, and compliance requirements
• Handle banking activities and treasury management
• Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Prepare financial reports and coordinate with the Finance Controller

Requirements:

• M.Com with 5-10 years of relevant experience OR CA Inter with minimum 5 years
• Mandatory UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, financial reporting, and ERP systems
• Proven leadership experience managing a finance team
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
