Senior Accountant

A well-established organisation in Abu Dhabi is growing its finance team and is on the hunt for a Senior Accountant who lives and breathes FP&A — someone equally comfortable building a budget model as they are explaining a variance to leadership.

You’ll sit close to the business, turning raw numbers into the kind of insight that actually shapes decisions: where to invest, where to cut, and where performance is drifting off plan. It’s a role that rewards curiosity as much as accuracy.

Backgrounds in a Family Office, an Investment or Holding Company, or a diversified group are especially welcome, since the entity structure here mirrors that complexity, and prior UAE experience will help you hit the ground running.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build out budgets and forecasts, and dig into variances to explain the ‘why’ behind the numbers
• Put together monthly management packs, dashboards, and MIS reporting for stakeholders
• Run financial models that inform key business decisions
• Keep a close eye on cash flow, cost trends, and profitability across the business
• Prepare and interpret the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement
• Own the month-end close, including reconciliations and reporting deadlines
• Consolidate financials across several entities into a coherent group view
• Use ERP tools and advanced Excel to keep reporting sharp and reliable

What we’re looking for:

• 4–5 years in Accounting and/or FP&A roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Track record in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Comfortable producing management reports, dashboards, and MIS output
• Solid grasp of financial statements and reporting cycles
• Advanced Excel skills plus experience with ERP/financial systems
• Strong analytical thinking paired with clear presentation skills
• Family Office, Investment, or Holding Company background is a plus
• Existing UAE experience preferred
