GFAD is hiring for the position of Senior GL Accountant / Healthcare Finance Specialist in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time opportunity in the Healthcare / Finance / Accounting sector.
Job Overview: This role is intended for candidates with Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably within a hospital, healthcare, or healthcare group environment. The stated qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred. The advertised salary is AED 15,000 – AED 22,000 per month (Estimated).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities and perform General Ledger reconciliations.
- Oversee fixed-asset accounting and inventory accounting processes.
- Support annual budgets, forecasts, and financial-planning activities.
- Maintain compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and provide supporting schedules.
- Conduct variance analysis and present useful financial insights to management.
- Monitor cash-flow information and support wider financial planning.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- 5–8 years of Accounting & Finance experience.
- Healthcare, hospital, or healthcare-group experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP EBS/Fusion, SAP, or a comparable ERP platform.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Skills / Knowledge: General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, audits, Oracle ERP/SAP, and advanced Excel.
