Senior GL Accountant / Healthcare Finance Specialist

GFAD is hiring for the position of Senior GL Accountant / Healthcare Finance Specialist in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time opportunity in the Healthcare / Finance / Accounting sector.

Job Overview: This role is intended for candidates with Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably within a hospital, healthcare, or healthcare group environment. The stated qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred. The advertised salary is AED 15,000 – AED 22,000 per month (Estimated).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities and perform General Ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed-asset accounting and inventory accounting processes.
• Support annual budgets, forecasts, and financial-planning activities.
• Maintain compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and provide supporting schedules.
• Conduct variance analysis and present useful financial insights to management.
• Monitor cash-flow information and support wider financial planning.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• 5–8 years of Accounting & Finance experience.
• Healthcare, hospital, or healthcare-group experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP EBS/Fusion, SAP, or a comparable ERP platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Skills / Knowledge: General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, audits, Oracle ERP/SAP, and advanced Excel.
