Social Counselor – Elementary Section

A qualified Social Counselor is required to support the social, emotional, and overall wellbeing of elementary students. The successful candidate will collaborate with students, families, teachers, and school leadership while ensuring student support practices meet relevant educational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate social and emotional support to elementary students.
• Identify student wellbeing concerns and coordinate appropriate support.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership on student development.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain appropriate counseling records and confidentiality.
• Support school wellbeing initiatives and intervention programs.
• Ensure counseling practices comply with ADEK and applicable requirements.

Requirements

• UAE National.
• Valid DCD License is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
• Relevant qualifications meeting ADEK requirements.
• School or educational counseling experience is preferred.
• Strong Arabic and English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with children and families.
