Job Purpose:

To manage the inventory, storage, and issuance of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for the maintenance of Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. Ensures all operations are conducted in compliance with internal policies and aviation regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels for regularly used items such as toolboxes, batteries, oils, and wheels.
  • Ensure timely availability and readiness of tools and materials for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Perform daily checks to maintain correct storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Issue and track tools, components, and kits as per maintenance requirements and update system records accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the AOG Desk and Line Maintenance teams for urgent part requirements.
  • Conduct serviceability checks for tools and report unserviceable items to the Rotables Team.
  • Accurately record all transactions in the AMOS system, ensuring proper tagging, calibration tracking, and expiry management.
  • Credit back unused parts and return them to stores as per established procedures.
  • Provide inventory support for both Air Arabia and third-party aircraft operations when required.
  • Support audits, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives within the stores function.
  • Maintain up-to-date stock reports, highlight system discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in aviation inventory or stores; experience in a low-cost airline is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of civil aviation regulations and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (preferred).
  • Experience with inventory management systems such as AMOS is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy items and navigating between multiple store locations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
  • Able to work on rotating shifts and under pressure.
