Job Overview
Hotaru Holdings is recruiting a Tax Accountant / Auditor to strengthen its finance team in Dubai. The position combines tax compliance with internal audit support across multiple business entities. The successful candidate will review financial transactions, check supporting records, help maintain compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, and contribute to preparations for e-invoicing implementation. The role requires a careful and confidential approach, strong analytical judgement, and the ability to present findings clearly so that financial controls and reporting remain reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance activities relating to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Review sales transactions, cash records, and operational expenses for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
- Carry out internal audit checks across business locations and report relevant findings.
- Assist with preparation and process changes connected to UAE e-invoicing implementation.
- Prepare tax schedules, compliance reports, and supporting financial documentation.
- Work with relevant colleagues to follow up on discrepancies and maintain sound accounting controls.
Requirements
- Experience in taxation, auditing, or financial accounting is preferred.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze financial records carefully and identify inconsistencies.
- Strong reporting, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and meet reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field is the estimated qualification. The vacancy does not specify a minimum experience period.
