A leading company based in Al Hamriya Free Zone, Sharjah is looking for an experienced Accountant to support its day-to-day financial and accounting operations. This role suits someone with a solid foundation in UAE accounting who takes pride in accurate records, timely reconciliations and dependable reporting.
You’ll play a steady, behind-the-scenes role keeping the company’s finances in order, working closely with management to ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing daily accounting transactions and routine financial activities
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents
- Performing regular bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Assisting with preparation of financial reports and accounting statements
- Ensuring accounting entries are recorded accurately per established procedures
- Supporting day-to-day finance operations and related admin activities
- Assisting management with financial information and reporting as needed
What we’re looking for
- 2-5 years of relevant UAE accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience handling day-to-day accounting operations
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field preferred
