Accountant

A leading company based in Al Hamriya Free Zone, Sharjah is looking for an experienced Accountant to support its day-to-day financial and accounting operations. This role suits someone with a solid foundation in UAE accounting who takes pride in accurate records, timely reconciliations and dependable reporting.

You’ll play a steady, behind-the-scenes role keeping the company’s finances in order, working closely with management to ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing daily accounting transactions and routine financial activities
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents
• Performing regular bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Assisting with preparation of financial reports and accounting statements
• Ensuring accounting entries are recorded accurately per established procedures
• Supporting day-to-day finance operations and related admin activities
• Assisting management with financial information and reporting as needed

What we’re looking for

• 2-5 years of relevant UAE accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience handling day-to-day accounting operations
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field preferred
