Accountant

York Consultants is growing its Abu Dhabi team and is looking for a qualified, detail-oriented Accountant to help keep financial operations accurate and running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants to build their career with a firm that values precision and compliance.

You’ll work closely with the finance team on day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance activities, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting functions. Candidates with prior UAE accounting experience who can join quickly will be given priority.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping accounting records and financial transactions accurate and up to date
• Supporting daily bookkeeping and financial reporting activities
• Assisting with VAT documentation and compliance
• Preparing reports and carrying out account reconciliations
• Using accounting software and Excel for financial analysis
• Coordinating with internal departments to keep finance operations running smoothly

What we’re looking for:

• 2–4 years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations (preferred)
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Good communication and analytical ability
• Immediate joiners preferred
