York Consultants is growing its Abu Dhabi team and is looking for a qualified, detail-oriented Accountant to help keep financial operations accurate and running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants to build their career with a firm that values precision and compliance.
You’ll work closely with the finance team on day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance activities, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting functions. Candidates with prior UAE accounting experience who can join quickly will be given priority.
What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping accounting records and financial transactions accurate and up to date
- Supporting daily bookkeeping and financial reporting activities
- Assisting with VAT documentation and compliance
- Preparing reports and carrying out account reconciliations
- Using accounting software and Excel for financial analysis
- Coordinating with internal departments to keep finance operations running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations (preferred)
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Good communication and analytical ability
- Immediate joiners preferred
