Dar Al Arkan Real Estate is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Sharjah.
You’ll take charge of everyday financial operations – reconciliations, VAT filing support, expense reporting and general bookkeeping – while keeping documentation tight and accurate. Given the bilingual customer and vendor base the company deals with, fluency in Arabic and English will help you communicate smoothly across the business, including HR and payroll-related accounting where needed.
This role is well suited to someone who can work independently, stay organised under deadline pressure, and take real ownership of the numbers.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records, accounting entries and documentation
- Preparing invoices, receipts, payments and expense reports
- Managing petty cash and day-to-day financial transactions
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Assisting with UAE VAT preparation and filing
- Monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Preparing monthly financial reports and summaries
- Supporting HR and payroll-related accounting needs
- Ensuring financial documents are properly filed and maintained
What you’ll bring
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of UAE accounting experience
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and core accounting principles
- Experience with AP, AR, petty cash, bank reconciliation and payroll
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Good communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluent Arabic and English
Estimated salary: AED 5,000 – 7,000 per month.
