Accountant

Stratum, a real estate and property management firm in Abu Dhabi, is on the hunt for a detail-driven Accountant to strengthen its finance function. If you enjoy keeping the numbers precise and the processes tidy, and you want to work somewhere your accuracy directly supports the company’s financial health, this role was built for you.

You’ll take ownership of the everyday accounting engine — Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll — while keeping the ledgers and financial statements in order. Beyond the routine, you’ll track cash flow and revenue, put together financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, and reconcile bank accounts to make sure every transaction checks out. Compliance is a big part of this seat: you’ll be expected to stay current on UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards, and to liaise comfortably with external auditors, suppliers and internal management. A background in real estate or property management is a nice bonus, though not essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR and payroll
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and statements
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and revenue for financial stability
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify transaction accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE VAT regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers and internal management
• Support broader financial analysis as needed

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards
• Real estate or property management experience is a plus
• Comfort with Tally, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent English communication skills
