Junior Accountant

Eram Investment, an established name in investment management, is expanding its Dubai finance team and wants to hear from a capable Junior Accountant ready to take on real responsibility. This is a great next step for someone who already has a few years of solid accounting experience and is looking to work closely with a Senior Accountant and the wider investment team on the day-to-day financial operations that keep the business running smoothly.

You’ll be trusted with the fundamentals of good bookkeeping, supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT filings and tax reports, and keeping the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles moving without a hitch. Beyond the routine, you’ll play a part in cash flow monitoring, financial planning, and both internal and external audits, all while helping the department sharpen its processes as it grows. Candidates already living in the UAE, and those with international (UK or European) accounting exposure or a background in investment management or financial services, will stand out.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the daily bookkeeping and general accounting workload
• Help prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns and tax reports
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning activities
• Assist during internal and external audits
• Keep financial records accurate and help improve accounting procedures
• Work closely with the Senior Accountant and the Investment Team

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• International accounting exposure (UK/European environments) is a strong plus
• Prior experience in investment management or financial services is an advantage
• Confident use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• A sharp eye for detail and solid analytical skills
• The ability to work independently and hit deadlines
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT/tax compliance, and AP/AR processes
