Accountant

Coveter Furniture Industry LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to support its manufacturing operations in the UAE. The position is suitable for an accounting professional with practical knowledge of job-order costing, inventory accounting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will manage finance activities connected with manufacturing operations, including costing of materials, direct labour and overheads, supplier invoices, customer billing, inventory records, VAT documentation, bank reconciliations, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage job-order costing and allocate materials, direct labour, and overhead costs.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and account reconciliations.
• Handle AP, AR, and general-ledger entries.
• Maintain inventory accounting records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Support UAE VAT filings and compliance documentation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and meet reporting deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or upholstery experience is preferred.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
