Accountant

Job Overview

A retail trading company in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, inventory accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong ODOO ERP experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and support month-end closing.
• Maintain bookkeeping records, general ledgers, and financial documentation.
• Process accounting entries through ODOO ERP.
• Support internal financial controls and data-accuracy checks.
• Prepare reports and analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a retail trading company.
• Strong ODOO ERP proficiency is mandatory.
• Experience with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving Licence is an added advantage.
