A company in Abu Hail, Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations. The position is intended for professionals with 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Record and review routine financial transactions and journal entries.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support monthly and periodic financial reporting.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide required financial documentation.
- Monitor accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related information and documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
- Good Excel and accounting-software skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
