Accountant

Elite Extrusions LLC (part of Elite Group of Companies) in Ras Al-Khaimah is recruiting a thorough and experienced Accountant to join its Finance team. The role covers the full spectrum of accounts receivable, VAT compliance, cash flow management, and financial reconciliation in an aluminium manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable ledgers, files, and related accounting records.
• Reconcile financial transactions including cheques, wire transfers, letters of credit, and cash payments.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Track aging reports, flag overdue accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare export LC and sight documents.
• Calculate sales incentives and compile monthly sales reports.
• Develop cash flow projections to support financial planning.
• Manage cash, credit card transactions, and petty cash settlements.
• Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and supporting financial documentation.
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly VAT returns; reconcile VAT ledger accounts with financial statements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of solid accounting experience.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Sound problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience in accounts receivable, VAT compliance, banking documentation, and financial reconciliation.
