Accountant

IDT Trading is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Accountant with solid UAE experience to join its Dubai finance team and take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and daily accounting operations.

You’ll ensure financial records are accurate and UAE VAT-compliant, supporting the business with budgeting, reconciliations, and reporting. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare financial reports and other ad hoc reports to support business requirements
• Compile, analyse, and maintain accurate financial statements
• Prepare and file tax-related documents in accordance with applicable regulations
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
• Perform daily accounting functions and support the finance team
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations

What you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
